Overview
ANIMA MARIS is a 160ft motor sailing yacht, custom built in Croatia in 2021. Twin masts and a long white hull give her the profile of a classic schooner, but the volume she carries on deck and below is pure modern superyacht. Split is her home port, and from there she runs south towards Montenegro or north along the Dalmatian coast as far as Venice.
The main salon of yacht ANIMA MARIS sits on the main deck and opens straight onto the aft deck through wide sliding glass. Oak flooring runs the length of the room, warmed by walnut panelling and a long cream sofa that follows the line of the hull. The windows sit low enough that the coastline stays in view from the seating. Olive green leather armchairs and cushions in gold and cream pick up the tones of the Adriatic pine outside, while a dark stone bar with leather stools anchors the forward end of the room. Abstract canvases in soft golds and blues hang against the wood.
On deck, ANIMA MARIS offers plenty of ways to spend the day. The aft main deck is laid in teak and built around one long dining table, sheltered beneath the overhang and open to the water on three sides. A floating teak staircase leads up to the sun deck, which is really the heart of the yacht. A curved white bar with rope-backed stools sits under a shade awning midships, with al-fresco dining and deep cushioned sofas just aft of it. Right at the stern, a Jacuzzi is set into a raised platform and surrounded by sunpads wide enough to spend an afternoon on. At the waterline, an impressive collection of water toys waits for anyone who would rather be in the sea than beside it.
