Abacos
Yacht Charter Itinerary
An Abacos yacht charter combines calm waters, secluded anchorages, unspoiled beaches, charming coastal towns, rich history, and abundant marine life. It is an ideal setting for a private Bahamas yacht charter vacation.
Spend a week exploring the Abacos at your own pace, discovering secluded beaches and remote cays while cruising away from crowded tourist destinations. A private yacht charter offers the freedom to experience this tropical paradise on your own itinerary.

Day 1
Marsh Harbour to Man O’War Cay
Begin your Abacos yacht charter in Marsh Harbour and cruise through clear Bahamian waters to Man O’War Cay, a protected island known for its welcoming community and maritime heritage.
Visit the Albury family’s historic boat-building facilities, where boats have been handcrafted for more than 200 years. Explore the island along the Queen’s Highway, a wide pedestrian walkway shared with golf carts—there are no cars on Man O’War Cay.
Enjoy lunch at Dock and Dine, followed by an afternoon on the beach or in the clear surrounding waters.

Day 2
Little Harbour
Continue your Abacos yacht charter with an early-morning cruise to Sandy Cay, a tiny, remote island of sand, brush, and trees where you may have the beach entirely to yourself.
Then cruise to Little Harbour, known for beautiful beaches, excellent diving, and blue holes. Visit the historic 100-year-old lighthouse, once home to the island’s lighthouse keeper and his wife.
End the day with drinks at Pete’s Pub before returning aboard your yacht for a relaxing evening.

Day 3
Hope Town
Cruise to Hope Town on Elbow Cay, a serene Bahamian village known for picturesque scenery, pristine beaches, and a relaxed atmosphere away from mass tourism.
Enjoy exceptional dining and ideal conditions for sailing, diving, and snorkeling. At just 4.5 miles long, Elbow Cay offers an intimate escape and a peaceful highlight of your Abacos yacht charter.

Day 4
Green Turtle Cay
Cruise into Green Turtle Cay on your Abacos yacht charter, a charming Bahamian island named for the green turtles that inhabit its shores. Just three miles long and half a mile wide, the island combines Bahamian character with the feel of a classic New England seaside village.
Explore pristine white-sand beaches and calm, crystal-clear waters. Arrive at White Sound, where colorful parrots can be seen among the surrounding palms, then spend the afternoon snorkeling and discovering the island’s historic sites.

Day 5
Treasure Cay
Cruise to Treasure Cay for a relaxed day of golf, shopping, and time on one of the Abacos’ pristine beaches. After breakfast catered to your preferences, anchor offshore and explore the island by tender.
Enjoy the resort town’s full range of amenities while avoiding the crowds of larger destinations. Swim in warm, clear waters or spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 6
Elbow Cay
Arrive at Elbow Cay in the early afternoon and cruise into White Sound, giving you time to explore the island’s colorful village, convenient marina, and local restaurants.
Continue your Abacos yacht charter to Tahiti Beach, known for its larger waves and surfing conditions. Unlike many nearby beaches, Tahiti Beach lacks a protective reef, creating more open water and stronger surf.

Day 7
Marsh Harbour
Your Abacos yacht charter concludes with a relaxed return to Marsh Harbour. Enjoy the sea breeze and scenic coastal views along the way as you prepare to disembark and continue your journey.
