|Year Built||1987 (Original)|
Built by the Italian shipyard Picchiotti in 1987, Stella Maris – previously named Tamarindo – underwent a complete refit in 2014. Designed to reflect the delicate nature of the Galapagos Islands, where it is predominantly chartered, Stella Maris was specially refitted to be as ecologically-friendly as possible.
Stretching 37.8 meters in length, Stella Maris is a custom motor yacht unlike any other. Its contemporary interior was designed by none other than Howard Dillday, and features timeless styling, elegant furnishings and plush, comfortable seating throughout. Surrounded by large, panoramic windows, the interior contains plenty of natural light – highlighting the yacht’s welcoming and neutral décor. The salon, located on the main deck, is equal parts comfortable and chic.
The sophisticated exterior design was the work of the original builder, Picchiotti. Outside, guests will find a large shaded social area with alfresco dining on the main deck, additional dining and a wet bar on the upper deck, and a private sundeck with chaise lounges, a Spa Pool tub and impeccable sunset views.
STELLA MARIS can accommodate 12 guests in 6 staterooms.
Stella Maris features two suites below deck as well as three suites on the forward main deck. The master suite is located on the upper deck which features its own private access to an outdoor lounge.
