Overview
MAMBO is a 112ft Ferretti Custom Line motor yacht, built in 2004 with a refit in 2023. Designed by Gianni Zuccon, she carries that proper Italian craftsmanship that holds up beautifully two decades on, and her crew of five knows the Bahamas inside out.
Below deck, the interiors of yacht MAMBO are wrapped in glossy cherry woodwork that runs from one space to the next, paired with cream upholstery, soft blue accents and warm hardwood flooring. The main salon is generous and open, with deep sofas arranged around a dark coffee table. A sculptural wooden bar curves along one end of the room with leather stools tucked beneath it, and a few steps forward, the formal dining area takes over, an oval polished table set beneath a chandelier, surrounded by white slipcovered chairs. Just off the passageway, an illuminated wine cabinet built into the cherry panelling is the kind of detail that gives the yacht its character.
On deck, MAMBO is built for the kind of slow, sun-drenched days the Bahamas were made for. The aft deck holds a navy banquette with striped pillows wrapped around a wood al-fresco dining table, and warm teak underfoot makes it the natural first stop coming out of the salon. Forward, the bow sunpads sit beneath a bimini with rolled towels at the ready, perfect for a quiet morning before anyone else is up. The flybridge is where most yacht charter guests will spend their afternoons. A Jacuzzi sits at the heart of it, surrounded by curved navy sofas with crisp white piping, with a full wet bar at one end, a separate al-fresco dining setup and a striped day bed alongside a curved navy lounger that most guests end up claiming sooner or later. A row of sun loungers runs along the side rail with nothing between them and the open water. At the swimming platform, an impressive collection of water toys is ready to turn any anchorage into its own small adventure.
