Built by Sunreef Yachts in 2003, the luxury sailing catamaran Maita’i is the ideal choice for Mediterranean and Caribbean charters. It was originally designed by Van Peteghem & Prevost, and refit by its new owner in 2011.
Both modern and comfortable, the interior of Maita’i is equal parts stylish and sophisticated. Original paintings, sculptures and furniture designs – all by Alexander Calder, Auguste Herbin, Martha Botto, Philippe Stark and Ross Lovegrove – can be found throughout. Only the highest quality furnishings and accoutrements are available. The superior bed and bath linens and accessories are by the House of Hermès, the crystal stemware is from Baccarat, and the cutlery from Christofle.
Aside from tanning, lounging under the sun, and enjoying a cocktail at sunset, guests should look forward to taking advantage of the exterior’s expansive collection of water toys: like an inflatable 10’ sailing cat, wakeboard, water skis, diving equipment, kneeboards, floats and more.
Maita’i can accommodate 8 charter guests in 4 cabins.
- A Master cabin, located in the port side hull, with large dressing room, bureau, and private en suite with a Hansgrohe rainshower and white Corian washbasins.
- The starboard hull can be configured to suit the needs of your group. 2 Double cabins are easily split into 4 Twins for teens or singles. Another cabin accommodates up to 3 guests with an upper and lower berth plus a pullman for a child.
