KING’S LEGEND is a 65’ sailing and racing yacht, built in 1975 by Nautor’s Swan with naval architecture by Sparkman & Stephens. She was completely restored in 1999 with an update to all operating systems and the addition of modern comforts.
King’s Legend boasts great performance and speed with a slender design, and is considered by experts to be the Rolls Royce of sailing yachts.
Her interior features warm teakwood, creating a classic yet comfortable ambiance. Her salon has seating and a dining area with bright blue upholstery, and the galley is adjacent. This is the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day over a leisurely meal.
Exterior deck space is ample with options for sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying the scenery while under way.
KING’S LEGEND is a popular charter for regattas, and include two training days leading up to the event. She became a legendary vessel following the 1977 Whitbread Around the World race, where she sailed into 2nd place after travelling 27,000 nautical miles.
