Overview
KAR is an 88ft Riva motor yacht, built in 2021 with a refit in 2024. Her exterior styling, with charcoal-grey hull and sleek profile, is the work of Mauro Micheli at Officina Italiana Design. Based between the Amalfi Coast and Sicily, yacht KAR is built for the western Mediterranean at its most beautiful.
The interior of yacht KAR is bright, contemporary and built around natural light. Light oak joinery runs through the open-plan main salon, paired with deep cream sofas, a low charcoal coffee table and a softly patterned rug that warms the space. Coral and blue accent cushions create statement bursts of colour. Forward of the lounge area, the dining table seats the full group beneath the same bright, considered finish carried throughout.
On deck, warm teak runs from bow to stern. The aft deck offers al-fresco dining and afternoon lounging, with a generous cream sofa wrapping around a teak dining table and the open water just beyond the rail. Forward, the bow opens into one of her most rewarding spaces, a second al-fresco dining setup with built-in cushioned seating, and beyond it, generous sunpads and a lounging area that gets full sun all day long. The flybridge is the natural choice for a long, slow afternoon, with deep cream sunpads, lounge sofas and a low coffee table arranged for whichever way the breeze is blowing. At the stern of yacht KAR, the swim platform drops straight onto the water and onto an impressive collection of water toys ready to go at any moment.
