Overview
IL MARE is a 157ft motor yacht, custom built in Croatia in 2017. She charters the Dalmatian coast from her home ports of Split and Trogir.
The main salon of yacht IL MARE sits on the upper deck and runs most of its length. Polished walnut covers the pillars and the aft wall. Round timber tables with pale stone centres are set among cream leather banquettes that curve along the hull. Long runs of windows down both sides, dressed in grey curtains and sheer voile, keep the coast in view from almost every seat. At the forward end, a bar faced in gold and grey mosaic carries glassware overhead. The room feels warm and welcoming.
On deck, IL MARE gives charter guests plenty of room to spread out. The aft main deck is the most sociable space aboard, sheltered beneath a varnished timber ceiling, with five tables, long cushioned benches in cream and red and planters softening the corners. Morning coffee, a drink after swimming and the slow part of the evening all happen here. One deck up, the aft terrace is quieter, with facing bench seating and oval timber tables open to the water on three sides. The sun deck sits above everything else. A Jacuzzi is set into the decking with loungers fanned around it, and a shaded seating area just aft for anyone who has had enough of the sun. Forward, the bow is left clear and simple. At the stern, the swimming platform folds down to the water with the water toys beside it.
