Overview
EXPLORION is a 53ft power catamaran, built in 2023 by Aquila. She was inspired by Greek mythology and the spirit of adventure. She takes her name from Orion, the legendary hunter and son of Poseidon. From her base in Athens, she cruises the Cyclades and the Ionian Sea.
The interior of yacht EXPLORION is bright, warm and contemporary. Light oak joinery runs throughout the main salon, set against rich walnut flooring and soft cream upholstery. The galley, located on the aft part of the salon, opens its windows directly onto the main deck. This creates an intimate bar connected to the aft deck. Forward, sofa seating wrapped around an oak table creates a perfect formal dining area, with a single piece of bold, colourful pop-art bringing personality to the room. This is the kind of interior that pulls people together, just as much over a slow dinner as it does on a quiet morning.
The aft deck of yacht EXPLORION is the natural first stop coming out of the salon, and it works as the social heart of the yacht, a wraparound sofa, a marble-topped table for cocktails and appetizers, and a pass-through bar with bar stools that opens directly into the main salon, creating a flowing connected space. The foredeck is the quiet spot to lie back with nothing but open water ahead. The flybridge offers a perfect spot for al-fresco dining while the sun sets. With comfortable loungers and generous sunpads beneath a sweeping hardtop, this is where most yacht charter guests will end up lingering. Down at the waterline, the teak swim platform opens straight onto the sea, set with cushioned loungers and an impressive collection of water toys ready whenever the moment calls.
