Once owned by Aristotle Onassis, the 325-foot Christina O is one of the most legendary superyachts in the history of yachting. First built in 1943 by Canadian Vickers, this yacht was used as a surplus Canadian frigate in World War II. In 1954, Aristotle Onassis bought it for $4M, and later transformed it into a palace for him and his A-list friends: like Maria Callas, Eva Peron, the Kennedys and more.
Christina O’s most recent refit lasted from 1999 to 2001, during which time, the yacht was refurbished with only the highest standards of 21st-century luxury. Step onboard, and splendor and elegance abound – it has 4 salons, a dining room that can seat up to 40 guests, 3 cocktail bars, a library, a children’s playroom, a fitness center, a beauty parlor, and a massage room. While onboard, guests can spend their days outside, relax in the Life Evolution Spa, enjoy cuisine from Michelin-starred chef, indulge in a cocktail at the ship’s famous bar, or enjoy being serenaded by the piano that was named after its most famous player: Maria Callas. Throughout, the interior’s sumptuous fabrics, soft lighting and beautiful, timeless furnishings give a snapshot into the glamour of the past.
Outside, Christina O is fitted with expansive deck areas that house everything from al fresco dining areas and sun loungers, to a full wet bar and plenty of seating for all of the yacht’s elite guests. Adding to its one-of-a-kind luxury, Christina O has a bronze-edged swimming pool and dance floor, a large Jacuzzi deck with panoramic horizon views, and a large collection of water toys – including mahogany tenders, windsurfers, jet skis, snorkeling gear and more.
