Overview
ANCALLIA is a 150ft motor yacht, built in 1984 by Feadship, and later rebuilt from a bare hull to an exceptionally high specification, with a further refit in 2022. That rebuild earned her the Best Rebuilt Yacht award at the 2015 World Superyacht Awards, and the result is a yacht with the finish of a new build and the unmistakable lines of a classic Feadship.
The interior of yacht ANCALLIA was designed by Colefax & Fowler of London. The main salon is panelled in warm cherry, with deep cream sofas and pale blue armchairs gathered around two low tables, bookshelves and framed landscapes on the walls, and large windows dressed in venetian blinds that soften the Greek light. The formal dining offers a long polished table, blue glassware and porcelain that echo the water outside. Up on the bridge deck the mood changes entirely. Pale bamboo panelling, cream sectional seating and generous ottomans make the sky lounge the place where afternoons quietly disappear.
On deck, ANCALLIA shows what a Feadship of this generation does best. Teak runs from bow to stern. The main aft deck is the natural gathering point, with a curved settee, cane armchairs and a shaded table laid for al-fresco lunch, open to the water on all sides. Forward on the same level, the foredeck keeps a quieter lounge and a broad sunpad. On the bridge deck aft, an enormous sunpad and wraparound seating sit beneath a retractable awning, with a dining table just behind and an outdoor cinema screen that appears once the sun has gone. The sundeck carries a Jacuzzi looking out over whichever cove she has found that day, along with more sunpads and a barbecue. At the stern her integrated swim platform opens straight onto the sea, where an impressive collection of water toys waits for anyone who would rather be in the water than beside it.
