Launched in 1825 by Giovanni Battista Codecasa, a shipwright, Codecasa Shipyards is home to one of the modern yacht world’s most prominent luxury builders.
Inspired by his days working in Viareggio – and the fact that the Codecasa family had a history in shipbuilding – Giovanni established this one-of-a-kind shipyard together with his father, Antonio. Today, the brand has become known across the globe for its steel and alloy motoryachts, which typically range from 30 to upwards of 70 meters in length, and are praised for their quality, technology, innovation, design and reliability.
With a large, in-house team of technological geniuses and expert naval designers, Codecasa Shipyards prides itself on being able to create completely customized yachts, and all according to owner preferences. As a result, no two Codecasa yachts are the same; but all have the brand’s same signature interior design – a choice of high-end modern, classic or minimalist – and top technical standards.
Though still run by the Codecasa family, this shipyard continues to evolve and expand dramatically. What started as a small sailboat shipyard is now a conglomerate of three, smaller companies – Ugo Codecasa S.p.A. Shipyards, Codecasa Due S.p.A. Shipyards and Codices Tre S.p.A. Shipyards – with a portfolio of luxury mega yachts that continues to impress yacht aficionados from around the world.
