Chartering a Yacht for the Monaco Grand Prix
Regardless of why you’re in dazzling, coastal Monaco, it always pays to go on a yacht. In fact, even as an auto event, the Monaco Grand Prix is one of the largest yachting events of the year. Aside from being the most glamorous way to travel, staying on a yacht is also a very practical options. As hotels tend to book up months, or even a year, prior to the actual races, staying on a yacht gives you both the best access to the race and built-in hotel accommodations.
There are two ways to incorporate a yacht into your Monaco Grand Prix experience:
First, you can rent a berth. This berth is located right in the main port, and prices start at around €15,000. You’ll have a perfect view of the race, and as an added bonus, you can host celebratory parties on your yacht immediately after.
Second, you can anchor just outside of the port of Monaco. This area won’t give you a perfect view of the races, but you’ll still get somewhat of a view and be right in the heart of the event’s party-all-night vibes. To make up for the view, most people who choose to stay in this area book lunch in one of the many high-rises around Monaco. Then, you can come back to your crewed yacht and host the part of a lifetime – one befitting of a glitterati-filled global event like the Monaco Grand Prix.
