Paleopolis: Once an ancient settlement in the Classical period, today, Paleopolis is an enchanting village on the charming hillside of Mount Petalo. As yacht charter guests wind through its cozy passageways, they will find an interesting collection of ancient ruins, from churches and huts to the Ancient port of Andros. For a snapshot of nature’s most beautiful landscapes, climb to the top of Mount Petalo, where flowing waterfalls glisten under the perfect, Grecian sun.
Pano Kastro: Built by the Venetians during ancient history, Pano Kastro is a castle unlike any other. With its fortified wall and difficult access point, this fortress is the largest and strongest settlement in all of Andros. According to legend, it was once occupied by an old lady who jumped off a high rock and fell to her death in the Aegean Sea.
Agios Petros Beach: Just outside the welcoming and celestial village of Agios Petrios, yacht charter guests will find the village’s equally picturesque beach. Home to two main town squares, Chora has a range of local taverns, tasty eateries and boutique shopping that reflect the true culture and traditions of Andros.
