Elena was born and raised in Kaliningrad in the western province of Russia, the city with an old history and very close proximity to Europe. She graduated as an honors student with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management and combined Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Investment Management.
Growing up close to the Baltic Sea in the hometown of German philosopher Immanuel Kant, Elena developed a love and passion for the water. Considering the fact that both her grandfather and father worked at sea, it was only a matter of time when she would follow in their footsteps and start working in the marine industry. As she always lived by the coast, Elena decided to move to Fort Lauderdale to fulfill her dreams.
She started her career in the yachting industry in 2011, learning different aspects of the business: vessel management, accounting, sales and charter assistance. Elena’s first language proved to be a valuable asset to her employers over the course of her career.
Elena loves traveling, visiting museums but also enjoys the simple life, cross stitching, reading classical Russian literature or playing a good game of chess.
