Cannes MIDEM boat charters
MIDEM, which stands for Marché International du Disque et de l'Edition Musicale, is the world’s largest music industry trade show, and also an increasingly popular event for boat charters. Held since 1967, MIDEM draws thousands of musicians, producers, managers, and journalists who gather to discuss business, political, and legal aspects of the music trade. This January event, which draws participants from around the world, is held in Cannes, France at the world-renowned Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. The convention center is most recognized as the venue for the Cannes Film Festival.
Many attendees arrive in Cannes by boatt charter, where they are able to entertain and network aboard luxury yachts. MIDEM is a conference to introduce new bands, music-related products, and upcoming fads. Speakers at the convention will inform attendees about new and revolutionary methods of financial success within the industry.
MIDEM participants often attend the NRJ Music Awards, held the night before the conference, sponsored by France’s most popular radio station.
