The Ionian Islands:
Made up of Corfu, Paxos, Antipaxos, Lefkas, Ithaca, Kefalonia, and Zakynthos, the Ionian Islands are sometimes called the “Green Islands” because of their lush vegetation. Located to the west of mainland Greece, these islands are known for their beautiful beaches, charming villages, and fertile land.

The Saronic Islands:
This archipelago, located to the east of the mainland, include Angistri, Aegina, Methana, Poros, Salamina, Spetses, and Hydra. Visitors enjoy the natural beauty, pristine beaches, and small deserted islets.

The Cyclades Islands:
The most famous of all Greek Islands, the Cyclades are in the central Aegean and include Andros, Delos, Ios, Kea, Folegandros, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Santorini, Serifos, Sifnos, and Syros.
The Dodencanese Islands
This crescent-shaped chain of islands is in the southeast and extends from the Asiatic Turkish coastline towards Crete. Most of the islands are bare of vegetation, but some offer natural springs. These Greek islands include Kos, Rhodes, and Samos.

The Sporades Islands
Located to the north of Evvoia, these wide-spread islands to the east of mainland Greece and consist of numerous uninhabited islands as well as Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos, and Skyros, which are inhabited. Visitors here enjoy clean, blue waters and mountainous terrain with dense vegetation.
